Hallie's 9th Birthday Party

Hallie is 9! Hallie got an iPod from her Grandma and Grandpa Parker and was soo excited!
We had a chocolate polka dot cake with vanilla ice cream...yum!
Hallie and the girls (freezing) in the pool because it was a rare cool night.
Hallie and her guests. Top row: Casey, Ashley, Rylee, Laynee
Front Row: Nicci, Megan, Hallie, Maggie, and Chloe (McKenna wasn't there yet)
The girls playing the candy bar game.
Hallie had 9 girlfriends come over for a "polka dot party". She wanted a sleepover, but Mom didn't like that idea much, so we had a "late over". They wore their jammies, they went swimming, ate pizza, had cake and ice cream, and played games. The girls favorite was the candy bar game and each went home with lots of yummy treats and fun party prizes. We blasted music from the Twilight movie soundtrack and the girls were silly and had fun!

Fathers 'n Sons Outing 2009

Chase was the only one to actually catch a fish, but he was too afraid to touch it!
I just love this picture of Chase. He had such a great time, especially since he was the only one to catch a fish! Such a hard day...
Blake with a beautiful lake.
The boys fished with our great neighbors, Jeff and Augie Yungfleish.
Nate took Blake and Chase to our wards Fathers n Sons again this May. They had a great time and even went fishing this time. I always enjoy seeing the pictures they come home with! Unfortunately, when they went fishing, Nate sat on my camera and cracked the screen, but still got some cute pictures nonetheless!:)

Playing Catch Up

"Luke Montana" Hallie and her cousin, Maggie, were playing dress up with this Hannah Montana wig and thought it would be funny to see how Luke looked with it on. We all got a good laugh.
We thought it would be cute to put Luke in a box and send a picture to his Aunt Jenna telling her he was coming to visit. It didn't take long for him to not like this idea.
Nate is such a good Dad and acts so silly with the kids. I got a kick out of that hat on his big head and Luke thought it was pretty funny too.
How cute is that?
On the last day of school I took Luke to see Blake's and Hallie's classes. This was the only picture I got but Blake was so proud. :) I remember taking Blake as show and tell for his Uncle Brent's class.
Houston Elementary does a special "6th Grade Walk" on the last day of school. To my surpise I actually started crying. It's hard to believe my little boy is growing up so quickly.
I've been pretty behind in the blogging world lately. I'm going to post pictures from the Fathers n Sons outing, the last day of school and some miscellaneous fluff and I'll post a separate post of pictures from Hallie's birthday party. Things have been really good and we're enjoying our life with a new family member, but it does make things busier for sure. :)

Happy Birthday, Hallie!

Yesterday our sweet little Hallie turned 9 years old! I really can't believe that it's been 9 years since my princess was born. Hallie Jayne Parker was born on June 7, 2000. She was a petite 5lbs.12oz and 19 inches long. She was gorgeous from day one with long eyelashes and beautiful big eyes. Hallie is probably the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She cares so much for others and is amazingly kind to everyone. She's fantastic with babies and little kids (she definitely has her brothers' Luke and Jack wrapped around her little finger). We love our Hallie and are soooo happy and grateful that she's part of our lives.
I'll be posting pictures from her fun birthday party soon!
