Happy Birthday, Nate!

Nate had a birthday shout hooray! (I've had too many years in Primary.) My sweetheart turned 34 this week and we celebrated by going out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and to Home Depot. Nate has his own idea of fun. :) We had a great time being alone, for a change! Nate is an amazing father and friend and I love him so much! Happy Birthday, Babe!

Sorry, it's been a while...

Hi All! It's been forever since I've been "computerized" in our new home. At an attempt to save money and live without our wants (vs. needs) I decided to postpone hooking up our internet service for a while. I'm not sure how much of this I can take! I'm going to go crazy! :) Anyway, moving in our home has been challenging, but so far going well. We like our ward and our new schools. I'm really impressed with my kids' teachers, so far. The only teacher I've had much interaction with is Chase's kindergarten teacher. (He's had some nervous days starting everything new). But Blake has been really lucky to find LOTS of boys his age right on our street..that's been really nice. Luke is 7 months now and wanting to be mobile so bad it's not even funny. Nate is working hard, as usual and had a birthday this weekend. Hallie is doing well and has found a sweet little friend, Haley. All is well! I think I'm gonna break down and call! I miss facebook. hee hee

We're Moving

I write this post with a sense of excitement and sadness at the same time. Excited to put down roots at our new house and sadness to leave our great ward and school. We have lived in our current home for over 3.5 years and have absolutely LOVED our Lindsay Ward and Houston Elementary. I can't believe we have to leave, but we so desperately want to own a home, that it's just time. We've made so many good friends and have had so much fun. Blake and Hallie are all but devastated about leaving Houston. It is the only school Hallie knows and she has found some amazing little girls as friends. Blake has made so many great friends and really feels like he belongs. We definitely want to stay in touch with all of our beloved friends and ward members...we won't be too far away! (Our new home is still in Gilbert, near the San Tan Mall.) Thanks so much to all you wonderful people...we love you!

Luke is 6 Months!

Luke and Dad, always smiling.
I had to post this pic because Luke's eyes are soo blue.
I can't believe 6 months have already past. It seems like just yesterday we came home from the hospital and spent our nights up feeding. Wait, we still spend our nights up feeding. :) Actually, Luke does pretty well and goes right back to sleep after he nurses. Luke is such a joy to have and we all love him so much. He has a way of making every one of us smile. Luke thinks Hallie is a litttle Mom, has fun playing with Blake and thinks Chase is the King! I'm pretty sure he thinks Mom and Dad are great too. :)
